If you would like to print or create a document containing all records for a single patient in your database, then Genie's Print Complete Record function is for you.
Print Complete Record will allow you to print the following parts of the patient's Clinical Record:
- Outgoing Letters
- Incoming Letters
- Pathology & Radiology
- WorkCover Claims
- SMS History
How to Use
Print Complete Record can be accessed from within the patient's Clinical Record. Simply navigate to the Tools menu at the top of the screen and select the Print Complete Record option.
You will be presented with the following window:
You can then give the report a Page Heading, or filter by a particular date range. Ensure that only the items you wish to print are selected and click OK.
You will then receive a standard Print Settings window where you can select to print to your standard printer, or print to PDF. This process for printing to PDF will change depending on your operating system, For more information, please see our Printing to PDF article.
Note: If you choose to print to PDF, on Windows you will receive a separate print window for each attachment in the patient's file. For example, if the patient has ten attachments in their file, you will receive one print window for the initial Print Complete Record, then one for each separate attachment (11 in total). This is due to the way Windows handles PDF generation, and is not able to be changed.
On Mac computers, when printing to PDF the attachments will be added to one single PDF document.
Note: If you tick the Do not show this window again option, you will no longer be prompted to customise the data you'd like to include. To force this window to reappear so you can change these options, hold the Shift key when accessing Tools > Print Complete Record.
If you are receiving an alert "Some downloaded results were unable to be printed because they have associated blobs" when trying to print complete record, please refer to this article.
