How to print complete record
To print a patient's record you must firstly be in their clinical file.
Navigate to Tools > Print Complete Record and you will then be presented with the following window:
You can then give the report a Page Heading and use the Date Filter if necessary (i.e. if you only want records from a specific date).
If you have specific parts that you do not wish to print, simply deselect them in the list.
Once you are happy with the records to be printed, click OK.
Have you accidentally clicked the Do not show this window again option? Simply hold down your Shift key when accessing Tools > Print Complete Record.
You will receive the below prompt if you are trying to print attachments, which states which attachment file types will be processed. Click OK to the prompt to begin creating the record.
Genie will then begin to create a PDF for you. There are a few steps that Genie completes through this process, however, you should see an Estimated time remaining box appear, which will give you an indication of how long the report may take.
Once the report has been created, you may receive the below alert depending on what records were included in the report:
Click View List and you will be presented with a window such as below, which will include all items that were unable to be included in the report.
You can then find these records in the patient's file and print them separately if required.
Once Genie has finished generating the PDF, it will automatically open the file in your default PDF application (Windows), or in the Preview app (Mac) and you can print from here.
Windows Users on Genie v9.3.7 and below
In previous versions of Genie, when attempting to print complete record on a Windows machine you will receive a separate print window for each attachment in a patient's file. This has now been resolved as of Genie v9.3.8 so only one PDF document will be created for the entirety of the patient's file.
