During your use of Genie Client you may receive a 10030 or 10031 error. These will be accompanied by the following messages:
10030: Desynchronisation has occurred during the write cycle
10031: Desynchronisation has occurred during the read cycle
These messages will generally indicate a networking issue - specifically a problem with internet access.
To resolve:
First, confirm if you are able to access the internet in other ways on this machine. You can try this by opening an internet browser window and searching for a new page. For example, if you weren't able to access and read this article on the affected computer, you may have issues with your internet connection or your router. If you are unsure how to resolve this, please contact your IT support or internet service provider to assist with correcting this.
If you are able to use the internet on this computer outside of Genie, a delete of 4D Preferences may resolve these errors. To do this, please perform a Manual Delete of 4D Preferences, as per the instructions in this article.
If you are still receiving a 10030/10031 error after trying the above steps, please contact Genie Support to investigate further.
