Genie Solutions has recently become aware of an issue in the My Health Record functionality for sites on Genie version 8.9.3 and below. This issue has arisen due to changes over the weekend to the Medicare My Health Record certificate authentication system, which has an unexpected incompatibility with the older transmission methodology in Genie version 8.9.3 and below.
This issue results in users being unable to access or upload information to patients' My Health Records. This issue does not occur in Genie versions 9.0.1 or higher.
If you are currently experiencing issues using your My Health Record functionality in Genie and are on Genie version 8.9.3 or below, updating to Genie 9.1.1 will resolve this issue. For instructions on updating to 9.1.1 please see the Updating to 9.1.1 article.
