If you still prefer working with pen and paper, or just like to have a quick snapshot of your day at all times, printing off the Appointment Book may be a solution for you.
Before you begin
If you'd like the Appointment Schedule to print as well as the existing appointments, you'll need to ensure your Appointment Preferences have been configured appropriately. Open the Appointment Preferences by navigating to Appts > Appt Preferences and then click on the Appearance tab. If you'd like to print the Appointment Schedule, make sure Show Schedule Type Names is ticked and Don’t print empty appointment slots is unticked.
Printing the Appointment Book for all providers

Open the Appointment Book to the day you intend to print.

Select the All tab so that you can see bookings for all doctors.

You can then adjust the width of the printout and whether you print the empty appointment slots via the Appearance tab of the Appointment Preferences (Appts > Appt Preferences)

Click on the Printer icon
to the left of the appointment book
Note: Clicking on the Printer icon while holding the Alt (Windows)/Option (Mac) key will take a snapshot of the Appointment Book and open it in your computer's default image browser. The file location will also open in Windows Explorer/Mac Finder. -
You can then print either the whole page or the selected records

You'll then be given the option to print in colour or in black and white; make a selection and then make any adjustments in the Print Setup window
Printing the Appointment Book for a specific provider

Open the Appointment Book to the day you intend to print.

Select the doctor’s tab whose appointments you wish to print.

You can then adjust the width of the printout and whether you print the empty appointment slots via the Appearance tab of the Appointment Preferences (Appts > Appt Preferences)

You can also select the fields you wish to print by selecting the Modify Columns button. Any headings with a tick in the Print column will be included on the print out. You can also access this window by right-clicking on any of the column headers in the Appointment Book and selecting Modify Appointment Columns
