When does this error appear?
This error will appear when attempting to send a transmission to Medicare.
What does this error mean?
Your provider is listed as a general practitioner and trying to transmit an item marked as diagnostic, however, this item should not be marked as requested.
How do I resolve this error?
- Navigate to Open > Billing Items and use the magnifying glass
to search for the item you are trying to transmit. - Double-click on the item to open the Edit Item window.
- Untick the Requested Item checkbox in the top-right, then click Save.
- Attempt to transmit the item once again.
