When does this error appear?
This error will appear when attempting to transmit a claim through to Medicare (bulk bill, DVA, patient claim or ECLIPSE).
What does this error mean?
This error indicates that you are trying to transmit pathology items to Medicare from MBS groups P1 - P13 (excluding P9). Medicare is unable to electronically receive claims for these pathology items in MBS group P (excluding P9) from Genie via Medicare Web Services.
How do I resolve this error?
Bulk bill and DVA claims for these particular pathology services will need to be sent manually. Patients must apply for the rebate themselves.
