If you have clicked Retrieve Reports in Medicare Claims Control or Get Report Status in IMC Claims Control but you still have claims that have no reports attached, you can contact Medicare to check on the claim status.
As Services Australia now utilise Medicare Web Services for their claiming channels, you will need the Transaction ID, rather than your Claim ID / Batch Number.

- Navigate to File > Maintenance and Reports > Daily and click on Bulk Bill / DVA Transmission or IMC ECLIPSE Transmission.
- For Medicare claims, highlight your claim in Medicare Claims Control and click View Transmission. For ECLIPSE, highlight your claim and click View Transmission(s).
- Note the Transaction ID in this window. Left-click (Medicare) or right-click (ECLIPSE) into the field to copy this to your clipboard. This is useful if you are wanting to take a note outside of Genie and email Medicare.
- Contact Medicare eBusiness with your Minor ID (your Genie number) and the Transaction ID using the contact details below.
