This error will appear when attempting to transmit pathology items to Medicare from MBS groups P1 - P13 (excluding P9).
What does this error mean?
Medicare is unable to electronically receive claims for pathology items in MBS group P (excluding P9) from Genie via Medicare Web Services.
How do I resolve this error?
Bulk bill and DVA claims for these particular pathology services will need to be sent manually. Patients must apply for the rebate themselves.
