When does this error appear?
This error will appear when attempting to create a new transmission in File > Maintenance and Reports > Daily > Bulk Bill/DVA Transmission.
What does this error mean?
A requested diagnostic imaging item is being transmitted with the claim, however no requester details have been entered against the item.
How do I resolve this error?
- Find the problematic item. Upon closing out of the error, the problematic item should be highlighted in your transmission list.
- Navigate to Open > Patients, search for and highlight the patient and then navigate to Billing > Account History.
- Double-click the invoice on the left-hand side of the Account History window and then double-click the item that requires a request. This will typically be an imaging item.
- Click Edit Request at the bottom and ensure that the correct requester information is entered. Click Save to save the request, Save to save the item and Save again to save the invoice.
- Within the New Transmission window, click Create Transmission to attempt to transmit once again.
