Whether you want to edit the default template, or a custom template that you created, you can do so by navigating to Appts > SMS Reminders > Setup from within the appointment book.
Editing a template
- Right-click on any user within the practitioner list on the left of the SMS Setup window.
- Hover over the Edit Template... option.
- Click on the template you would like to edit.
- In the resultant window, edit your template as desired. For more information about what you can include in your template, see our article on creating SMS reminder templates.
- Once you are happy with your template, click OK to close the window and save your changes.
This will not automatically apply that template to your provider. You will need to right-click on the relevant provider and choose the appropriate template from the list.
Deleting a template
If a template was made in error or is no longer in use, you can delete this from the database.
- Right-click on any user within the practitioner list on the left of the SMS Setup window.
- Hover over the Delete Template... option.
- Click on the template you would like to delete.
- Click Delete in the confirmation window that appears.
Any practitioners that were using the deleted template will revert to using the Default template.
