If you've ever needed to update a patient's details after their visit with a doctor, you would be aware of an issue in Genie where you are unable to access their demographics when the doctor is in the patient's clinical file typing up their notes.
This has always been a major pain point for our customers, and as part of our Voice of the Customer Feedback program, our developers have made some major changes in the background of our newest Genie release v9.3.6 to ensure that this is no longer an issue to your practice workflow. This Genie version is due for release Tuesday, 19 May 2020.
In previous Genie versions, you would receive the below error when attempting to open a patient's demographics at the same time that their clinical file was open:
