Thanks for updating this announcement. Could someone please look at the percentage (which hasn't changed from the very precise 93% since this announcement was created)? Could someone please look at the estimated completion date of 8 March, which has now passed, and, to my mind, needs to be updated?

Can I assume that the management of Genie Solutions have decided not to directly provide updated information to customers who are affected by this significant delay, and instead we need to check back here once a week to find out what's happening?

Would it be possible to have an updated completion date for phase 1? This notification currently (1300 EST Fri 15 March) states yesterday, 14 March, as the estimated completion date. If the completion date for phase 1 changes, will that have any impact on the estimate of the end of March for phase 4?

    Hi Peter,

We are committed to updating this announcement weekly which we have done so far since release and will continue to.  We expect to have our next update posted by COB next Wednesday (20th of March).

For our customers wishing to keep up to date we suggest they ‘Follow’ our General Notifications by selecting the ‘Follow’ button available at the top right of the previous page.

We are separately looking at additional communications that we will have around this release – we’re still in the process of finalising these though so I’m unable to currently confirm exactly what they will be and when they will be scheduled.

Sorry Peter - I posted my reply comment before I saw your new comment from today.  We'll update the article next week with more details but at this stage we're still on track to have our Early Adopter release out next week and for the 2 week testing period to commence from there which means at this point in time we're still expecting to have a version ready for public release by the end of March.  If issues are identified during the Early Adopter phase then this date may change but we'll advise at the time should that occur.

As someone who has used Genie for 15 years or so it seems to me that the culture has changed in the relatively recent past - perhaps since the sale of the company? I have never before seen such a slow response and poor communication in relation to updates. We have wanted to update some hardware in our rooms but can't as it will mean new macs with potentially incompatible operating systems. Mojave was released on September 24th 2018 over 6 months ago and since that day we have gone through the daily rigmarole of preventing iOS updates on our existing machines. Whilst the upheaval of moving to another software provider is forbidding it is now being contemplated. In the meantime a new iOS will no-doubt be released in 5½ months...
