So I have a real problem. All of my computers are Macs. eRX only works on Window machines. Therefore Genie is NOT SafeScript compliant if you have an Apple environment, and you can only use with webpage. As I write opioid scripts for almost all of my post operative patients this is going to be a nightmare for me. I am sure there is a huge installed base of Genie users who are in the same boat.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting in touch. I've raised a ticket from your comment, as it's our understanding that eRX and SafeScript should be viable within a Mac environment. Feel free to reply to the email I've sent through or give our support line a call (1300 889 362), and we'll investigate this one further for you.

    Have a great weekend!

Paperless scripts. Now that we are in lockdown this would be a great thing to prioritise as we do lots of Telehealth. : From Pulse IT emailed news "First electronic prescription in primary care sent and dispensed in Victoria

Australia's first fully electronic prescription has been successfully prescribed and dispensed by a doctor and pharmacist in the Victorian town of Anglesea, using the token model developed by industry and regulators as an alternative to paper scripts."

Alas it wasn't done using Genie! Please prioritise this function in Genie, as we are using Telehealth and have to fax and post all scripts currently, let's go paperless ASAP!
