The latest version of the Macintosh operating system, macOS High Sierra (10.13), is pending public release on the 25th of September 2017.
We have tested our current Genie release, version 9.0.3, on the developer beta release of macOS High Sierra. This testing has identified some minor display issues.
Please be aware, however – as has been the case with previous macOS releases, we know that there can be significant differences between the beta and public release. These differences can impact Genie’s performance and functionality in unforeseen ways. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you do not update your Genie server and workstations to macOS High Sierra, until we are able to identify whether there are any issues in the public release that might affect your ability to use Genie.
For reference, all operating systems that we currently recommend are listed in the Genie Hardware Specifications document. To ensure that you get the best possible performance out of the Genie software, you should ensure that all hardware in your practice adheres to these specifications.
