We have identified an issue in version 9.0.9 of Genie which is resulting in PDF content not being properly created. This affects both referral/reply letters (red quill) and merged letters (golden pages) when attempting to email them as PDF attachments. We believe the issue only affects those customers using Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2012 or older.
Please note: This can also affect your third-party correspondence if the applications for those providers (Argus, Healthlink, etc.) are installed on one of the affected operating systems.
As this is a high-impact issue for our users, we hope to soon have a new version of Genie available as a matter of priority.
For users who have not yet updated to version 9.0.9, you will notice that the Genie updater for this version has been hidden from the Software Updates window. If you use Mac or Windows 10 computers and still wish to update in the interim, please contact our Support team on 1300 889 362.
As soon as we are able, we will make the new version available for download for all users. We will provide updates on this issue when we have further information.
